The paper presents an induction machine enhanced mathematical model, which uses frequency dependent electrical parameters. The program has been implemented using Matlab-Simulink software, by creating a new simulation block that has added electrical and mechanical parameters, as input data. Electrical parameters are determined by no-load and shortcircuit tests run at different frequencies, while mechanical parameters are obtained through retardation test. The starting transient regime is studied using both the enhanced model of the induction machine and the model using constant parameters.
